ROLL OUT ROLLER SKATE FESTIVAL

Whip it good! Roller derbies and roller skates have come to take on a new subcultural cool in the 21^st Century. June 14 to 16 you can come explore this “everything old is new again” sport at Village Square here in Calgary! Watch professional skaters at the Saturday Night Gala dance and perform, learn from experts and even buy yourself a new pair of rad kicks! Designed to entertain experienced roller-skaters and newbies alike, this is bound to be a fantastic time.
 

CALGARY HORROR CON 2019

If you’re a fan of horror, then June can be a bummer. You’re MONTHS away from your favourite time of year, Halloween! The glaring sunlight of summer isn’t where you can find the bone-chilling terror you crave… unless you come to Calgary June 21 to 23! That’s because Calgary Horror Con is going to bring a little SLICE of horror to the summer!

Guests include Caroline Williams from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, Danny Lloyd from The Shining, Linda Blair from The Exorcist, Christine Elise from Child’s Play 2 and none other than Kane Hodder from the Friday The Thirteenth series!
